Watch woes. It’s 1:15 PM and I haven’t charged my watch since this morning. Battery life matters to me. This week I was within seconds of buying a new smartwatch to replace the brand-new Apple Watch I had already bought just 2 months ago (don’t ask why I own that watch, since I have an Android phone). Why send it back? Because the battery was draining down crazily, half gone by lunchtime, just about all gone by supper, for a device that was supposed to average 18 hours on a single charge (“90 time checks, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of app use, 60 minute workout”).
